About us
What does Eco-Oryx Solutions do?
We are a Kenyan company working in two areas: ICT solutions — with a focus on RFID asset tagging and tracking, queue management, document and records management — and engineering and construction.
Who are some of your clients?
Government agencies including the Ministries of Lands, Health and Education, and institutions such as KRA, KCB, KTDA, MCK, KBC, NCS, KUTRRH, Biovax, KEMRI, KMTC and several county governments.
Where are your offices?
Nairobi: Juja City Mall, 2nd floor, Thika Road. Mombasa: Tahera Manzil, 2nd floor, Kenyatta Avenue. We work on site across Kenya and the region.
RFID tagging
How is RFID different from barcodes?
A barcode has to be seen and scanned one at a time. An RFID reader picks up many tags at once by radio, even inside a cabinet or behind a box, so audits are much faster and less error-prone. Many clients use both: RFID for counting, a printed barcode as backup.
Can you tag metal equipment like servers and machinery?
Yes. Ordinary labels don't read well on metal, so we use on-metal (anti-metal) tags designed for servers, cabinets, vehicles and machinery.
How long does tagging take?
It depends on the number of assets and how spread out they are. After a site survey we give you a schedule per building or floor. We can tag in phases so offices keep working.
Will our staff be able to run audits themselves?
Yes. Training is part of every installation, and we stay available for support afterwards.
Can it connect to our ERP or existing asset register?
Yes. We clean and import your existing register, and export to Excel or integrate with ERP systems for depreciation and finance reporting.
Shop & orders
How do I pay for shop orders?
You can pay by M-Pesa, bank transfer, or — for institutions — on invoice/LPO. Payment details are shown at checkout and in your confirmation email.
Some products say "price on request". Can I still order?
Yes. Add them to your cart and check out — we'll email you a quotation before anything is charged.
Do you deliver?
Yes, across Kenya. You can also collect from our Nairobi office.
How do I check that a receipt is genuine?
Every Eco-Oryx receipt has a number and a QR code. Scan the code or enter the number on our Verify receipt page.
